Who, What, Where, When, Why, & How?
Who? - The best local musicians in and around Edmonton.
The Backyard is proud to host Albertan Bob Jahrig. Bob's songwriting reveals his love of language, melody and a search for beauty in the human spirit and the natural world. His debut CD, Tree Tops was released in 2002. Bob released his second CD, Colour of the Moon in the fall of 2008. In addition to performing at folk venues across Alberta, Bob taught songwriting to youths as an artist in residence and as an instructor at YouthWrite.
What? - An open-air concert in the heart of downtown Edmonton.
Where? - The Backyard! 10004 103A Ave NW. Check out the Contact page for location & directions.
When? - Sunday, June 27th. Evening show (all ages): 5:00pm doors open. 6:00 performance begins.
Why? - Because we love live music, love supporting local artists and giving them an opportunity to share their amazing talents. The Backyard is the best outdoor venue to do this!
How? - We are hopeful, as you all are, that the worst of Covid is soon behind us, and we want to play a small part in bringing some normalcy, as well as some unique vibrancy & energy back to the core of Edmonton.
Tickets are available for purchase at the door. $3 tickets, $1 for children under 12 years old.
Dogs on leash are welcome.
