Everyone loves a good backyard. We created a space for building and engaging with your community — a vibrant space for people to enjoy year-round.

Our backyard is a one of a kind gathering place that can be transformed to accommodate all types of events. From yoga classes to concerts to private events, our programming brings energy & creativity to our downtown.

Our modular concept uses repurposed shipping containers to create an engaging outdoor space for all. The Backyard’s bar, kiosk, & washrooms double as canvases for colourful murals.

Located downtown at 104th Ave. & 101st St., The Backyard is hidden amongst some of Edmonton’s tallest buildings—the CN, EPCOR, & Edmonton towers. Look for the three sea-can containers decked out in street art and you’ll know you’ve arrived.
